Best TV Deals for the week of August 12
Football season tends to impact the TV bargain market. While the weeks around the playoffs are the best football-related times to shop for TVs on sale, the weeks around the season kickoff also offer some great deals. With less than a month left until the first official NFL game of the 2024-2025 season is played on September 5, there are plenty of options on sale for a clearer, less-laggy sports viewing experience at home.
We’ve rounded up some TV deals worth considering for the week of August 12, including better versions of our absolute favorite Prime Day TV deals (as well as a few other cheap QLED TVs), as well as discounts on 2024 OLED and QLED models from Samsung and LG.

At under $400 (or even under $350) for a QLED of this size, it’s a truly incredible price. TCL’s Q6 series isn’t the most premium QLED TV on the market, but it’s not the most basic either. The Q6 is brighter than TCL’s ultra-budget Q5, and it’s one of the few budget QLEDs that’s bright and colorful enough to really work with HDR. If you’re looking for an affordable way to level up your football viewing experience this season, this is it.
